About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Exploring the vast and varied European cultures!
ABOUT ME
If you care to know what I look like (computer I'm on won't let me save a photo to upload), you can find me on Facebook under Maxwell Jonathan Sandager :D
Long story short, I'm a medical student with a varied set of interests and hobbies that change at the drop of a hat, and I also like to think I'm a pretty funny guy. In my spare time you my find me studying piano one day, foreign language the next day, and exercise science the day after that. Why? Because I'm a curious person. It's one of the main reasons I want to look across Europe and also the reason I want to look into CouchSurfing, because I want to see and learn about the people outside of America and experience their cultures.
PHILOSOPHY
All things, including life, are defined by contrast. I live my life to experience and learn through it. I'm not content to see the same thing all the time, or sit in a cramped room all day while the world is exploding outside. I want to see and feel new things as often as I can bear. I'll wander the streets exploring a new city for a few hours at night rather than spend that same time standing around in one of its nightclubs. I'd rather talk to the guy on the train I have to play charades with because he's from a country that doesn't speak English instead of talking to the American guy two seats down from me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't really participated yet, as this is a fresh profile I'm making here, but I hope to hear some great stories (and make some of my own) and learn a lot about the peoples and places I'll be going.

Music, Movies, and Books
I've never been much of a bookreader outside of Academia, but I took a big interest in fantasy / magic related stories, and Greek Mythology when I was younger.
Teach, Learn, Share
1) Well, if you need to know pretty much ANYTHING related to undergraduate-level sciences, I'm probably your man. I was a pre-med science tutor before I left for this little euro-trip, and a straight-A student.
2) Due to #1, I'm also full of fun facts about the human body. Don't believe me / think it's all gross? Here's a freebie: Stand and lift one leg up completely, close your eyes completely, and tilt your head as if you're looking straight up. Hold for 30 seconds.
