About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To Keep On Movin...

ABOUT ME

a bearded canadian traveler who enjoys (among other things) the very moment when you're swept away into an engaging conversation. I'm also a wannabe comedian, writer and enjoyer of music and art. I travel to gain new perspectives, to meet new people, and to make big unforgettable parties.

PHILOSOPHY

'where do you move? what are you moving from? Its yourself...'

'it's the ones who are cracked that the light shines through'

'he was a west-indian proctologist named Pokemon'

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Stuck on a desert island and only allowed to bring three albums they would be: Modest Mouses - The Lonesome Crowded West, Neil Young - Live at Massey Hall, and Oscar Peterson - Night Train

Books: Stuck on a desert and only allowed to bring three books they would be: Pynchon's 'Gravitys Rainbow' (because i would finally have the time to read it) David Foster Wallaces 'Infinite Jest' (For the same reason) and Zappruders 'Come on all you Ghosts' (for the lullz)

Movies: Anything by Paul Thomas Anderson, Mike Mills, Wes Anderson, Woody Allen, and 'Sideways'. I'm a huge lover of film and a wannabe editor. *I took a two year film class in High School so I think i'm real good*

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent many a night conversing with people on both sides of the US-Canada border. Though Canadians and Americans are sometimes so different - politically and socially - there's always one connecting thread, a topic of conversation perhaps, that dissolves nationality and brings those two people together. I always try to find that thing that connects me to you.

After living in Eastern Canada and the American South and gaining those perspectives, I'm currently in France to expand my world knowledge even further. I'll let you know how that's going if we ever meet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm an opinionated consumer of all things art and I like to chat with people who are the same. Even if its just your thoughts on the last batman movie...
