do unto others..I think I got that off the school bus as a kid. The Golden Rule, but its stuck with me. Also, that life is about living, and if you feel like you're dying, you're probably in the wrong place.

I have only just begun..
Update: I couchsurfed a handful of times in Australia and it was HEAPS of fun. Now back in the ATX, I wanna return the favor and the pleasure of meeting people on the road. I love hearing adventure stories and of new places I've GOT to see..couchsurfing is a great way to meet new people! in a land where you may know not a soul, you can find a friend. And that, is a beautiful thing.

Interests

nature, good human interaction, exploring the unknown, finding the meaning, even if there is none.. to know that. sharing good food and wine and stories from the road is possibly my favorite thing. or rocking out to some good live music and dancing the night away. or just lounging with a cup of tea. all of these things sound good to me.

Movies:Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Edward Scissorhands (anything Tim Burton really), Lord of the Rings, Harry Potters; from my childhood How the Grinch Stole Christmas, back to the Future I and II, Jaws; from my troubled youth Heathers, Pump up the Volume
Music: I get stuck on things, and as I musician myself, tend to relate to music by mood. That said, alot of sad stuff: Ray LaMontange,Damien Rice, Mirah and the Black Cat Orchestra, Fionna Apple, Stevie Nicks, Tom Waits,Jollie Holland,Sparklehorse, Eryka Badu, My Morning Jacket tons of local Austin bands which would be silly to list as they're localized, but mainly, music with soul:any and all
Books: Off the Map, which has encouraged me time and again to set off on adventures

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

selling all my posessions, letting it all go on a leap of faith and flying to Australia with little to no plan
