Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

back in the days I used to visit language exchange meetings and had a Russian - German language tandem here in Moscow.

in 2014 I had a marvelous one-week experience in Berlin living with my friend and fellow couchsurfers with a wonderful host.

Music, Movies, and Books

music: it could be underground harsh noise experimental, really black hiphop, psychedelic stoner or taylor swift's new album - why not if it fits the current mood.

I do read occasionally and for the past 2 years I've been really enjoying Russian postmodern.

I used to read a lot in English and the books were mostly detective novels by Thomas Harris and Stieg Larsson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

5000km hitchhike from Moscow all the way to the Caucasus, Crimea and back

enjoyed the nightsky and the sunrise while ascending the great Elbrus mountain. barely equipped and all alone

a challenging and way out of the comfort zone experience. I did succeed with the ascent though - two years in a row
