ABOUT ME

I'm an entrepreneur at heart and I've run an ecommerce business for the last 7 years specializing in importing marine and outdoor recreational products, mostly from China. I'm fortunate that I get to travel to amazing China at least once a year but unfortunate that I can't find as much time to travel to other spectacular parts of the world as I would like. Me and my girlfriend live in downtown Vancouver with our 1 year old black cocker spaniel (who we affectionately describe as our big black cocker!).

Interests

-I love to travel to unique areas of the world, especially those with a unique importance to global politics
-I'm fascinated by entrepreneurialism, especially web based businesses
-I'm a bit of a fitness fanatic and love playing soccer & golf, mounting climbing, and anything that keeps my belly away!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled to North Korea in 2008 and Israel in 2006/2010 and I'm still in awe that I had the opportunity to travel to these places any time I see them in the news

I took a train and bus over 5000 kms from Vancouver, BC to Mexico City

I fulfilled a dream to travel to Central Asia when I went to Kyrgyzstan in 2011.
