Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Winter is coming, so availablitlity is up in the air. Don't hesitate to message me if you need a place to stay. I'll post pictures of my couch soon. I can accomidate one to two people. No pets please, no crazy drinking/partying M-F (I work a typical 8-5 on the weekdays)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had the opportunity to stay with a friend of a friend that I had never met before. He offered up his couch immediately which, in turn, saved me from paying an astronomical price on a hotel during lollapalooza weekend in Chicago. while staying with him, he talked about his hosting experiences from couchsurfing.com. After the good vibe he gave me on the entire affair, I decided that I would like to pass that along.

Interests

In Alaska, i find myself spending my summers:
At my families cabin on Nancy Lake (wakeboarding, intertubing, swimming, fishing, boating)
Camping everywhere (I'm usually off on some adventure every weekend)
Biking, Hiking
Swimming (water baby at heart, even though it's usually cold, i toughen up and go for it)
I love the outdoors and what they have to offer, which really make alaska an enjoyable place 4-5 months out of the year
In the winter, my activities lesson to enjoying my friends company, staying indoors and going snowboarding when my wallet allows.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent 6 weeks backpacking around Europe with with the best 3 friends a girl could ask for. Cities we visited included: London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Munich, Prague, Florence, Rome, Paris, Barcelona and Ibiza. I will never forget the amazing opportunity i was given before getting tied down at work. Nothing would please me more to embark on another international adventure especially with the ladies i was able to travel with.
I met so many incredible people along the way and can hapily say i've managed to stay in contact with quite a few of them.
