About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Visit as much of the world as possible in the next two years!

ABOUT ME

Well I am volunteering right now with the Peace Corps in Moldova and working in Orhei. I will be in Moldova until 2014 summer, and I plan on traveling around Europe during and after my service before going back to school for my Master's degree. I like to travel and meet new people. I enjoy cooking and I used to work as a cook in a restaurant and come from a family of foodies. I enjoy seeing the real side of a culture and not the touristy parts of a country.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel like life is very short and so we must live each day to the fullest. Having a positive attitude is how I approach my life and I try everyday to be better then the day before. I don't like rude or cruel people and I love to give everyone a chance. Simple the Golden Rule of "Do unto other's as you would like to be treated". I prefer to listen first instead of just talking when I meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I have the potential to host someone, but I work a lot so unless it's a weekend I would most likely be unable to show anyone around. I would like to travel and see as much of Europe as I can in the next two years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was told to check this out by another volunteer and a Moldovan that has taken part in CS.

Interests

I like to eat and drink good food. I like to hike and be outside in nature, I also like historic places and anything that is generally interesting. Museums, art galleries, sporting events, beaches, forests, mountains, lakes, general site seeing stuff. I love to take photos and meet and talk with people from different cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading; historical books, fantasy, business books, comedy, inspirational books, and I will generally give anything a try if it has good reviews. I love all types of movies as long as they are good. Music I listen to many different types and I enjoy finding new stuff that I have never heard before.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first real trip to Europe was to Rome and that was a jaw dropping city. I just remember coming out of the subway and seeing the Colosseum for the first time and just being in awe for like 20 min. Such an amazing city.

Teach, Learn, Share

I was a business student in college and I have a background in cooking and in animal care. I used to train horses for around 7 years. I played lots of sports growing up with my favorite being American Football. At this time I can't host, in am hoping to be able to host soon though. If you are in Cincinnati hit me up though.
