ABOUT ME

I'm in my 3rd year of living in Newcastle after 12 years in Glasgow and I'm beginning to get some decent work as a professional storyteller after several years wandering in the wilderness. I still wander in the wilderness but now I know (roughly) where I am going!
Yes, I am trans, big woop, this is the 21st Century. Doesn't mean I'm easy, crazy or a freak. I might be all of those things, but not because I'm trans! :P

PHILOSOPHY

Do unto others...An' it harm none...Judge not... etc, etc. Also, assuming it doesn't contradict the above - Try anything once! (Maybe twice, for good measure ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a wandering vagabond, I often need to tour for performances across the country, so having somewhere to stay when in unfamiliar territory is always helpful!

As I now have a home, I am also willing to host when I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to the 'official' Couch-surfing scene, but as a former student I have done my fair share of it before!
I was homeless for about a year and was put-up by many of my good friends, so its always good to repay the favour, especially now I have a house of my own!

Interests

Reading, Writing, Storytelling, Bushcraft, Hillwalking, Camping, Music, Theatre, general performance! If you're interested in something and are erudite enough to be able to explain it to me, I'm interested too! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are so many! It just depends how I am looking at the world at the time! Dew on a spiders web at dawn, scintillating light through a forest canopy, the grain and shape of a rock silhouetted against the sky...more pretentious poetry... There is a lot to experience in the world, there are often wonders to be seen as soon as you step out of your door!

Um, I have a fairly good grasp of History, Art, Literature and Folklore. I am quite crafty, I enjoy making things, props, costumes, shelters, DIY, etc. I have a broad spectrum of general knowledge.
