ABOUT ME

I'm currently travelling within Canada. I have discovered that travelling alone is very . . . well, lonely.

Biking, walking, being outdoors, movies, music, messing around with computer stuff, relaxing. That's me.

I'd like to travel abroad once I've been around Canada a bit more. I've been to the UK, but my passport has since expired and I haven't gotten around to renewing it.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not really sure what to write here, but I have never met someone who eats an apple the same way that I do. Corn on the cob, yes; a peach, I suppose; but an apple, never. Not to mention how thoroughly I clean my Red Delicious apples before eating them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm completely new to CS, and right now I don't have a place where I can host (also, I'm travelling), but once I get my own proper place, I'll likely open up my couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All I can say is that a friend of mine surfed through some cities in the United States and he had nothing but good things to say about CS.

Intereses

I pretty much covered the basics in the Personal Description section. I also like to go to the occasional museum, exhibit, or music show. I recently went to a Titanic exhibit. It was very surreal and almost creepy to see all the things that went down with the ship, particularly a bent porthole complete with cracked but intact glass.

I also love fireworks displays, but they are rare. I've tried to put on a few myself, but with store-bought fireworks, it's never quite as fantastic as a real display.

Música, películas y libros

Movies: Action, adventure, comedy, drama, thriller, horror. My favourite movies include "Brotherhood of the Wolf", "Amadeus", "Clue", "Star Wars", and "Lord of the Rings".

Music: Metal (various styles), rock, classical, some alternative, some folk, some jazz. There are many European bands that I like, even though I don't understand some of their lyrics.

Books: I own a lot of books, and there are many that I'd like to read, but I read books -very slowly- and so, I'm sorry to say that I don't read often. I really wish I read more.

I've seen Stonehenge. That was pretty amazing, but who hasn't seen Stonehenge these days . . . .

I'm not sure what I could teach. I guess I could show someone how to juggle, or how to solve a Rubik's Cube in five minutes.
