Make fun(d) of IT ... That means, make fun and fund with intelligence and technology
I spent the first half of my life in study and accounting,
I used to be a road warrior before I got my CPA in 2010. I've been to 35 + cities in the north hemisphere (Europe, Mainland China, west coast of North America).
Therefore, I speak 3 languages and have some knowledge in 2.
Cantonese, my mother tongue;
English, most of my clients' language;
Mandarin, my working language from 2007-2009
Italian, elementary to intermediate level, as I took intensive Italian course at UBC and I've been there for travel... Love Italian team, Parma... Tifoso, Forza Parma!
Japanese, learned it by manga (Captain Tsubasa) ... Some hiragana and katakana ...
Very sporty, like long distance run (10k to half marathon), soccer, and basketball....
Love language too...
Strive for the best and uncover the unknowns...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I learned 2 foreign languages (Mandarin and English) before. That's why I know learning from daily conversations and interest (e.g. watching ball games) are critical.
I can offer my Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
I am quite free on weekdays (but not weekend, unfortunately) so I can be a tour guide after 5pm...
I know where to get good deals too...
I didn't have formal couch surfing experience. But, I did make friends with exchange students at UBC throughout my college life.
Showed them the place to have good food and play areas in Vancouver.
And, of course, formed study groups and hanged out at pub for sure.
Soccer (Italian Serie A, Serie B, Lega Pro);
Video shooting and editing;
Almost all ball games (but not water sports)
Music, Movies, and Books
Japanese style techno music,
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went watch my favorite team, Parma, at Parma, Italy...
Missed the train and encountered delay... But still managed to run to the pitch ...witnessing my team winning 2-1 against Chievo Verona ... Parma player (by that time) , Giovinco, scored the winning goal at the 93rd minute... Memorable...
