HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to CS. I heard about it from a coworker as we were talking about our upcoming trips. The concept is really interesting and I'm excited to learn more. I am heading for a 4 month trip. Upon returning, my couch should be available for anyone interested.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Two friends and I stayed on a friends couch / floor in a one bedroom apartment in Paris for about a week. The most fun was having everyone lying down trying to sleep to get an early start for the next day, but we always ended up talking until way too late.

Interests

I love - hiking, wine, wild animals, camp fires, swimming, old buildings, beer, ancient wonders, trekking through a city in the first hour or so after sunrise before everyone else wakes up, baseball, fresh bread, waterfalls, card games, gardening, trivia, carpentry...

I love to share jokes and funny stories.

My recent hobbies have been cooking, fruit and vegetable gardening, and reading about ancient civilizations and a lot of history in general. I also love to travel and can share stories about places I've been.

I have a business degree in accounting and a masters in US income taxes.

I'd like to learn how to use my camera a little better. I have a digital SLR and I'd love tips on taking better pics.

I am terrible with other languages, but interested learning new ones, a bit at a time.
