My mission is to explore and adventure, help others fix things that be broke, play games.

ABOUT ME

A wonderer and wanderer. I enjoy all of life's offerings and learning and developing in skills that I have some of or none of. Helping and learning from others is what makes me the most happy in life, and having the ability to mesh knowledge and further understanding through community is what the world is all about.
In my present state of experience I have taken to riding bikes of all kinds, Performing on or off stage, Building useful and useless things out of garbage such as stage sets, forts, decorations, art, transport, gourmet meals. I have traveled all over the US and parts of Europe and Central America. I love to jam out, question life and all of its facets, go on nature excursions, and explore silence.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to the Couch Surfing project but I will gladly serve my hosts in all ways, always. If something needs repaired, refurbished, reevaluated, reread, remodeled, reasoned, or consumed, I am your man.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Though I have not used Couch Surfer until recently, I have had the experience of going to others for a bed in my traveling drama troupe, Soul Purpose, where we would perform a liturgical drama for churches around the Midwest and East coast. Each church that we went to would provide host families that would provide a breakfast, bed, and transport to and fro the church.
Of course now I am traveling alone and will be glad to just have good company and a roof.

Interests

I am interested in All perspectives in life. I love to discuss and relate religions and philosophies. I also love sharing knowledge with others in order to promote self awareness and sufficiency. There is nothing in this world that can deter me from learning, and with every person having a personal experience on earth, there is always something new to discover.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing and terrifying things that I have experienced in the world is poverty. I saw true poverty for the first time in Nicaragua, Central America, a few years ago on a free trade Vs. fair trade mission trip with Valparaiso University.
In all of the chaos and deprivation that exists, I saw the need and beauty of a community that fends for each other. the mass majority of people don't have much in third world countries, but they have each other and are content in that. The love was invigorating, but the neglect from those with power to change was horrifying.
Experiencing poverty has driven me to find that contentment which stems from community and struggle, and to share awareness of how each of us can help to improve the lives of those who have very little.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am experienced in Almost all forms of Mechanics, not so much in computers, and realize that anything that goes together can come apart, any things that is broken can be duct taped or turned into something it wasn't intended for.
I have an understanding of many religions and their practices and am always open to deeper understandings.
I have experience in writing, performing, directing, and designing plays, music, and poetry, and dance.
Musically, I have a limited knowledge in theory, but a constantly developing knowledge of the music in all walks of life and love to see the music that resonates in others.
