About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Walk the road less travelled
ABOUT ME
I'm essentially a quiet and soft-spoken person who enjoys different cultures and languages. I value friendships and enjoys having casual but meaningful conversations. At first I may appear quiet, but that is because I prefer to observe and listen to get to know more about the person I am interacting with, However, I can be someone whom you can easily feel relaxed and at ease once you get to know me :)
I have lived in various parts of Japan for some time, namely Fukuoka, Tokyo and Osaka due to my studies. Participating in activities, taking solo trips across the country, and putting myself out there to interact with the local community have really opened my eyes to another world, and have also sparked my interest in cultural exchanges.
I am open-minded and receptive towards other perspectives and opinion but at the same time, I stick to my own values and beliefs
For travelling, I prefer the road less travelled and the free-and-easy way. In fact, the paths I have taken in my life up till now has been the less trodden one, much to my own surprise.
PHILOSOPHY
-Even though we may be reluctant, we need to embrace change because everything is impermanent.
-To make full use of my limited time to do something meaningful such as helping others in need, and making a difference in someone else's life.
-Kindness and compassion goes a long way.
-Always striving to be a better person in terms of kindness, generosity, and mindfulness compared to the day before.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled alone across 30 prefectures in Japan including Akita, Aomori, Miyagi, with extremely low budget and lightest luggage, and armed with my trusty camera of course :)
Travelled across Alaska and Canada for a month, watched calving glaciers and wildlife, and experienced the most breathtaking landscapes with my own eyes.
Travelled across rural and mountainous areas in Bhutan.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach conversational English if you are interested. Friends have told me that I have the ability to explain and put across ideas in a simple way for them to understand better.
I would like to learn more about the nuances and intricacies of the Japanese language as it's a never-ending journey!
We can share bits and pieces of information regarding our background, countries, cultures, languages. I can introduce you to authentic local food and places. Even I don't know everything about my own country but it will be fun to explore.
There is always something new to find out and learn about so I look forward to that!
