Have just moved over to London from New Zealand. Will be traveling through Eastern Europe for 6 months. Goals include learning some of the languages, going on epic adventures, seeing lots of live music, trying the local beer and wine.
A lawyer by trade, but not by nature. I love adventure and to explore. I am respectful of host's house, and the fact that most of them will have a job as well!
I'm really looking forward to getting back out on the road, especially since I have not travelled in some years now!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been on couchsurfing for almost ten years now. Have done plenty of traveling and hosting. It's an authentic way of staying with and meeting locals, and experiencing adventures that may not otherwise be apparent or available.
Also, when traveling alone, couchsurfing is an excellent way to find people to spend time with and share a beer with.
I like listening to music and playing music. I also like whistling.
I like space and physics.
I don't really like cats because they are only friendly when it suits them. But dogs are awesome because they are team players all the time.
I skateboard and snowboard, and I love it.
I like jumping off gargantuan trees or cliffs into deep enough water. And I love swimming. And climbing trees. And soy sauce.
Standing in the shower is quite nice, and so is cheese.
Music, Movies, and Books
Heaps really. Except hip hop, punk, and techno.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Got up early. Once.
Teach, Learn, Share
Don't skate when you're drunk.
Talk to strangers.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Laughs, good times, bad wines, and high fives!
