At any time I am at home, guests are most welcome. But very often I am travelling around the world. And during this time I cannot offer hosting. Sorry for this.

Eleven years ago I stopped working and started to travel with my wife through the world. Mainly we use for travelling a Toyota Land Cruiser modified with a small living cabin. I am very interested in every foreign country and culture. My handicap is diabetes, but it is used to me since 35 years and therefore it makes no problems.
For more than 35 years I am married with the same woman. We habe two children and three grandsons who fill my heart with warmth. I live in two worlds: Either on the way through the world with new impressions and experiences day by day, or "on vacation" at home where I enjoy every hour with my grandchildren.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Couch surfing is a good possibility to come in contact with locals, to get to know from them more about country and people and to get insider travel tips. Of course the financial advantage is not to be overlooked. But my first intention is to meet people
To meet people and to gain special experience.

Interessen

I write with pleasure, up to now I have published two books in German about a famous publishing company: "Auszeit am Baikal - Ein Jahr am Limit " and "Afrika hautnah -Ein Land Cruiser, zwei Grenzgänger und ein Kontinent".
Then I am interested very much in Buddhism. All strange and uncertain interests me.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I have lived for one year in a Jurte in the wildernes of Siberia at the lonesome east shore of Lake Baikal, only with wolves and bears and with that what the nature offers . My woman was during the summer with me, but I have mastered the wintertime alone with temperatures of more than minus 40 degrees.
