Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Moving to Portland in the next few weeks and I want to meet locals that can host me for a night or two and help me to get acquainted with the city. I don't know a single soul in Oregon, so Couchsurfing seems like the perfect place to make new friends while getting on my feet in Portland.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of Alternative, Classic rock, funk, classic r&b, jazz, and folk.
I love Quentin Tarantino films, I'm an avid subscriber of Netflix, and I'm mildly obsessed with Star Wars and Disney films.
My favorite books are To Kill A Mockingbird, Songs of the Doomed by Hunter S. Thompson and Life by Keith Richards.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 13, I went on a 14 day trip canoeing down the Suwannee river from camp site to camp site. I didn't shower for a week at a time and I had to dig a 3 ft hole every time I needed to use the restroom, but it was the most rewarding experience of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach me about your city.
Learn some of the best family recipes for southern cuisine you will come across.
Share your space, a beer, and your secret city hangouts with me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Friendship, my secret family recipes (don't tell my mom), my chili and gumbo made from scratch are to die for, any audio knowledge you may seek, relationship advice (albeit, far from professional), a care-free & playful spirit, a night on the town, deep conversations, an appreciation for the arts, and my Apple Music playlist.
