About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel, learn, work towards being a more well-rounded and sagacious individual and impart whatever usefulness I can unto others. Have a good time in the time I've got. In this instance, aiming to check out a few places in Europe, looking for some help!

ABOUT ME

19 Years old, born and raised in midcoast Maine, like to hike, mountain bike, ski and snowboard, scuba dive, blah blah, bunch of things. Would as readily read a book or strike up a good conversation - also enjoy telling stories of some of the stupid (yet funny) stuff I've witnessed and or participated in as well as bear witness to similar stories. Pretty humorous person, sarcastic, whatever you'd like to call it. Always up for something new, eager to learn anything pretty much, meet new people, most likely like most other folks on this site. So far haven't been as well travelled as many people on here, but, for a start I moved to St John in the Virgin Islands for 4 months last year after dropping out of college due to a lack of funding, which was a phenomenal experience and I'm looking forward to seeing more of the world. That being said I'm always down for drinking and going out and whatever, not too insane or anything, but always up for new adventures! That's a decent summation I guess, anything else you'd like to know just send me a message!

PHILOSOPHY

Live life unfettered, keep it real, readily embrace new experiences, live and let live, etc... do what you can with what you've got in the time you have, and learn everything you can. In some words from Aldous Huxley...

There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None as of yet, although I'm more used sleeping on couches more than beds if that holds any sway in the decision.

Interests

Hiking, biking, skiing, rock climbing, golfing, tennis, scuba diving, reading, learning, laughing (I don't know if this is a legitimate item, but I like it), listening to music, the list goes on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've gone on about twenty dives in the Caribbean and I can't really say which one is the most amazing, but considering them as a collective experience it is by far the most amazing thing I can say I've done, the world that sits beneath the waves down there is beyond compare to anything else I've ever seen.
