About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See as much of the world as I can before heading home after a 2 year hiatus
ABOUT ME
Ive been living in a hut in a remote village in Zambia, Africa for the past 2 years. I cook over fires, bathe outside and collect my water from a river. I'm leaving "the bush" and making my way home to Michigan in a few months. Ill soon be moving to New Orleans to see what I can find down south.
PHILOSOPHY
I tend to live my life for the moment, although I haven't figured out if this is the wisest thing yet. The most important part of life is keeping yourself happy. I feel blessed that what makes me happy is doing what I can to help and learn from and with others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm brand new to Couch Surfing...I'm hoping it will all work out.

Interests
I'm interested in seeing new places with as much of an insiders perspective as possible. I respect Lonely Planet, but thats not the tour I want to take. I love art, history and people...I love how they are so different yet so similar wherever you go.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all music. Bob Dylan is a favorite. I love the blues, bluegrass, anything I can dance to or sing along with. "Music was created to enjoy this world, and escape to others"
I also love books. I'm into the classics right now, War and Peace, The Count of Monte Cristo and anything by Steinbeck.
I haven't seen too many new movies the past few years. Although I did see Die Hard 4 and loved it. I mean...Bruce Willis out battled a fighter jet...come on.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At Victoria Falls during the right season and at the full moon there is a lunar rainbow. A huge silver circle in the sky. It seems to be all around you as you stand in the dark getting soaked with cold mist. Its incredibly beautiful...majestic.
Teach, Learn, Share
Ive spent the last 2 years living in a small village and have learned so much about what a community can and should be. People who on the outside seem so incredibly different can be just the same inside.
I could also teach you how to make an oven out of mud :)
