I come up with new ideas every day, and I'm trying to bring some of those to life.
I'm a 25 year old Nashville transplant. The travel bug bit me last year when I spent 3 months in Europe. I'd love to go on another extended trip, perhaps through South America.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm still trying to decide on that.
I'd never really used couchsurfing although I was on the site. It never really seemed like something I'd be interested in doing. Then, while in Portugal I met a girl at a hostel that had met some people in the city on the site. I went to a dinner and I absolutely loved everyone I met and really enjoyed the vibe. I'd really love to couchsurf on my next trip.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My friend and I stuck out like sore thumbs at a hole-in-the-wall Parisian diner. The setup wasn't the same as we were used to in Alabama, and we ended up sharing a table with a group of young guys. We started the night avoiding glances with the 3 guys next to us, afraid they were mocking our Americanisms, but eventually we got to talking and realized they thought we were poking fun of the way they talked. By the end of the night we were singing TV theme songs and talking about French movies. That is a perfect example of why traveling is amazing. I love meeting people that I might not have anything in common with, and realizing we get along perfectly.
