I'm pretty laid back and easy going. Personal development through learning and travelling is important to me, whether that's keeping in shape or exercising my mind. I speak English and (basic) Italian and am improving my French at the moment. I have lived in England, Italy, Switzerland, the US and now Scotland.
I'm passionate about exploring the world, through travel, reading and the arts. I like the outdoors, going for walks or bike rides, history and culture. I also (full disclosure here) spend too much time vegging in front of the TV with a glass of wine, but I do enjoy that too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm not that motivated by money or trying to move up the career ladder. I've achieved what I wanted to in my work, and am comfortable now. I own my own home and car, so now I guess I'd say I work to live rather than live to work. There's more to life than doing overtime in a stuffy office, so I’m determined to see a bit more of the world. I hope to meet interesting people and some new friends.
