The basics... I work on Alaska's North Slope, which is actually really flat and not sloped at all. I train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA, although I'm not a violent person; I prefer smiles and love over fisticuffs. I used to volunteer at a local Fire Department doing firefighting, emergency medicine, and rescues.
I want to travel, I want to see more of the world, I want to meet people and learn more about different people. I've grown up in a rather isolated homogenous area and I feel the urge to expand my horizons in life. I've just been busy trying to get ahead in life and have lacked the mettle to step out of my comfort zone, but I will change that soon...I've been changing that.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all types of music, but mostly listen to rock.

Science Fiction novels are my favorite, but they have to have either a deeper philosophical undertone or some theoretical physics "realities" in them. I also enjoy reading about physics (quantum, astrophysics, theoretical), and history. Top fave books - Ender's Game/Speaker for the Dead, Stanger in a Strange Land, The Moon is a Harsh Mistress, Starship Troopers, The Forever War, Astrophysics for People in a Hurry.
