I'm an Economics graduate from the UK about to begin a masters in International Policy at UCL. I enjoy getting to meet new people from different backgrounds and gaining insights into local culture that can easily be missed on the tourist trails.

I'm sporty and have an interest in rowing and rugby, I enjoy music also, but most of all I enjoy travel and experiencing new places!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Despite never having used Couchsurfing myself when travelling, I've only heard great thing about it from friends and home and those I've met on the road. It seems like a great why to meet interesting people and enjoy what a country has to offer through the eyes of those that know it best, and hopefully make some friends on the way!

This summer (2018) myself and a friend will be hitchhiking though Europe, from Madrid to Istanbul, and couch surfing would be a great way to meet people and make it a truly unforgettable trip.

My current favourite bands are Arcade Fire, Run the Jewels and Mumford & Sons.

My favourite book is 'cry the beloved country' by Alan Paton. I also enjoy travel writing.
