Overview
About Me
I'm a new college graduate from the University of Alabama where I earned my degree in mechanical engineering. I work for an engineering consulting and design firm in downtown Birmingham (Alabama) designing HVAC and other energy systems for buildings. I'm a bike nerd, I can talk for hours about bicycling and the unique community that has formed around bikes. I worked as a bike mechanic all through school which is where my love of bikes grew even greater. I learned to read and play music on the French Horn, which I played for close to 9 years, before swapping to primarily guitar.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing because it seems like a really great way to fully experience the cities and countries I want to visit in the future. Locals always know the best "secret" places to go see or food to try so what better guide could there be than someone who lives there full time?
I have recently discovered my love for traveling and hope to share the things I've learned with my future hosts and guests.
