I'm 19 years old and have always loved to travel and had a natural love for adventure, even in my village I'm constantly exploring the surrounding area. My other great love in life is art, when I was younger I always found it difficult to stay focused in academic subjects so I used art as a way of release and have carried that passion with me into later life.
I find I can be quite at times and other times when a conversation sparks my interest I can talk for hours (for good or ill)
My family and friends are very important but I believe it's incredible important to constantly meet new people, and share new ideas as this is the spice of life.
I'm friendly some times funny and respectful of my surroundings and my friends think I'm a pretty good bloke

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm traveling around Africa at the moment and ended up meeting so people that invited me to stay at there place for a few days, I didn't even realise at the time there were apart of this online community until they told me and explained the concept. And after they explained it to me I just feel in love with the idea

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a wide range of music but normally it depends of my mood so it can vary so much from soul and blues to rock, reggae and hip hop at the moment though my sound track for this African trip is a singer songwriter by the name of Rodriguez.
My taste in films is just as bizarre so I can be watching a classic horror movie one moment then turn over the channel and be watching a documentary about some historical event the next and still find it just as interesting but if I had to pick my number one movie of all time it would be a very close run between the original aflie or fear and loathing in las vagus hahaha
And as books go I'm currently reading a series of books called flash man and they are absolutely brilliant in every way

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I started running the London marathon for a pair of trainers and ended up raising £1500 for my mates water charity he set up in a village called shimbwe, it's a amazing reminder that something so small and silly at the time can grow into something unbelievable
