Hi, I'm Will, I'm here to meet others and explore new places. I enjoy learning about new cultures, cooking, eating and sharing a few tales/beers.

I work at one of the universities in Leeds organising outreach for young students - it's basically youth and community work! I've worked in many different places and countries usually with young people, but really interested in international development and the wider world.

You'll usually find me outdoors swimming in a river or fell running (basically bombing up and down hills) in the Yorkshire Dales - where i grew up and spend a lot of time with family. My ideal weekend would involve a long walk with a mate, then a few pints and maybe camping somewhere new.

I've lived with families on volunteering projects for months at a time in the US, Tanzania and Nepal and backpacked/volunteered through India, Sri Lanka and central Europe.

My plan is to host surfers in Leeds when I eventually have a place of my own. Right now I'm looking for a place/houseshare.

I used Couchsufers while backpacking eastern Canada in 2015, I met some brilliant hosts and I'd love to do the same. I'm here to meet people and learn about places from a more local perspective.
