CURRENT MISSION

We want to travel, meet people, and learn how to help and be helped by others, to live in community with other people. We want out of the "American dream," and into real life. We live now, not when we're retired.

ABOUT ME

We are a married couple, trying to live life to the fullest! We were both raised in families that didn't travel much, so we're kinda making up for lost time.

On the outside: We don't have kids yet. We're pretty laid back and we're light social drinkers. Quiet and respectful. We can get along with anyone. Once you bring up something we're into, we can literally talk your ears off, Jess can be pretty animated.

On the inside: We're weird and have a strange sense of humor. We like culture, good food, and good sometimes weird music. We're generally kind hearted people who like to lend a hand when given the opportunity. We've both worked in maintenance, and like to fix things.

Will is an amazing drummer, Jess is an okay drummer, Will plays piano, and Jess sings.

We think people are not islands, and we all need love, and other people.

PHILOSOPHY

Be yourself and you'll meet people like you. Try to fit in to mould and you'll meet the walls of a mould.

Books: Anything Distopic

Music: We recently started listening to Lincoln Durham, he plays all manner of guitar and violin, while banging on a bass drum and hi-hat, and it's raw and bluesy. We likeses it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Will was in the Tournament of Roses parade, and has met Jerry Jones.
Jess helped a guy whose bone broke and popped out of his leg.
When we first started dating, Joplin, MO was hit with a giant tornado, so we just packed up and went. We expected to do a lot of work, and kind of fend for ourselves as far as a room and food, but when we got there a lady gave us a room in her home, and people passed out free food and there were so many people that had done the same thing as us. People were helping each other everywhere. Never seen anything like that.

Teach, Learn, Share

Will has a culinary degree, and can make something delicious. We're both handy, and can work on most stuff. We can play you a song. And we can probably make you laugh.

We would like to learn more languages, jiu jitsu, and anything fun!
