ABOUT ME

I'm a 25 year old guy currently attending graduate school at Brandeis. I grew up in the South (Knoxville, TN), although I was born in the UK (London) and moved to the USA when I was really young. So far, living in Waltham has been fun; I'm always looking to meet new people, though!

Be happy, do good, and don't hurt others. Pretty simple, but I think it sums things up pretty well!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Way, way too many groups to list. Some bands include Television, The Smiths, and the Beach Boys. I also listen to a good amount of heavier stuff, including metal like Judas Priest.

Movies: A Beautiful Mind and Good Will Hunting come to mind. I'm pretty down with most movies, although I don't actually tend to watch them too often because I get preoccupied with other things.

Books: In terms of poetry, I dig the British Romantics (Coleridge and Keats in particular). In terms of fiction, I dig the Metamorphosis and a Portrait of the Artist As a Young Man, as well as many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've certainly felt awestruck at certain concerts I've been to, just because the music is so powerful and overwhelming. I'm also moved when I witness sudden acts of kindness; sometimes, it's easy to become pessimistic about people, but when a complete stranger is kind to me or someone else in my presence, it lifts my spirits right back up!
