I lived in Texas for a few years. Then I saw some pictures of Alaska and decided it looked like somewhere I'd rather live than Texas. So I flew up for a job fair. I hid in the bathroom when I realized I was in such high demand, but someone found me and hired me. Now I live on an island. Not sure what would bring a traveller to my part of the world, but my house is open if you find yourself here.

I'd like to travel to Europe. Maybe see some things, talk to some people, learn some languages.

Interests

When I'm not teaching I'm goofing off on the internet trying to learn Hungarian or Norwegian (Bokmal), or attempting to play music (accordion, keyboard, electric/classical guitar). I also really enjoy reading about cognitive science and economics. I love combat sports (muay thai, boxing, jiu-jitsu, wrestling, etc), but haven't had many opportunities for that lately.
