I'm a nice, courteous, fun-loving guy interested in seeing and experiencing new things and meeting awesome new people.

Interests

I'm very close with family and friends and 80% of my motivations in life are strengthening the bonds with the people around me. This most often involves everything from having dinners to going on trips with each other. Tailgating, quizzo, bowling, and impromptu softball games are also favorites. I love meeting similar, like-minded people who despite all the grand things in the world, can still appreciate the little things in life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most recently some friends and I visited Basque Country. An ex-pat friend of mine and her friends truly made us feel welcome. Showed us Basque culture, took us to local clubs, and even cooked us a traditional basque dinner. Was totally blown away by their hospitality and renewed my sense of wonder where a prior regimented travel approach had left me with monotonous experiences. Sometimes knowing a local makes all the difference.

Several years ago I took a road trip in Iceland. While rushing to leave the golden triangle to catch a ferry, we accidentally took the wrong road and ended up in the interior of Iceland. We were surrounded by lush green mountains next to beautiful glaciers. It was sunny and thunderstorming at the same time and we saw more rainbows than actual people. Truly an amazing experience.
