I am an easy-going, outgoing individual who enjoys the little things in life. I am open-minded, driven and keen to learn new things and meet new people all the time!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participate by being open to accept CouchSurfers when I am not travelling, and to pursue willing hosts when I travel to their city
I have not had any couchsurfing experience, but I feel that it is a great way to connect with locals in the areas in which I am traveling and be able to learn more about the area and be able to share experiences about travel and our cities!
I am very active! I play a variety of sports, and enjoy going to the gym. I also enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and camping. When I'm not playing sports, I like to spend my time with family and friends. I like to go out, but it is not necessary for me to have a good time. Sometimes the best nights are ones with a few close friends chatting over a beer at a local pub.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a huge fan of movies and music! I would say that my main interests in Music would be classic and alternative rock, as well as some rap/hip hop. I would say that my favourite bands are the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Coldplay, U2, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Common, A Tribe Called Quest, Citizen Cope, Eminem, Kanye West, Rage Against the Machine and Jay-Z. I am open to, and listen to almost every type of music though. I have a huge movie collection, and love every type of movie except horrors. My favourite movies would probably be Shawshank Redemption, Philadelphia, I Love You Man, Step Brothers, Good Will Hunting, and Dead Poets Society. I have started reading more recently and love books by Dan Brown and John Grisham. I also like Paolo Coehlo, and just recently started reading "Girl with the Dragon Tatoo" by Steig Larsson.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1) Seeing the temples at Angkor Wat recently were absolutely stunning
2) Coming off the tube station by Westminster Abbey and Big Ben in London
3) Arriving by boat at Maya Bay in Koh Phi Phi, Thailand
These are just a few recent things that I have seen, but I couldn't pick one in particular that stands out above the rest.
Teach, Learn, Share
I hope to embody this notion as I travel throughout the world, and be able to host people, as people openly host me traveling through their city. I believe that this is a tremendous global community, and I can't wait to get started in it!
