About Me

CURRENT MISSION

dancing in the moment.

ABOUT ME

I want to keep on learning. Constantly and everything and anything.
I love talking about life, love, friendship and everything that really matters.
I can never hide what I'm thinking. Honestly, never. Even if I squint my eyes and try hard.
I do watch Sex and the City and find it hillarously true.
I eat bars of chocolate to kill frustration.
I find it fascinating how shopping can actually save my mental health.
I spend my summer-evenings with my friends and Cosmopolitan on my balcony.
I don't call them my friends – they're my Patchwork Family.
I always fall for the complicated. And the drama.
I create drama myself. On stage and off stage.

And I LOVE Berlin – everyone should visit this city as long as it's still filled with this certain atmosphere that you can only feel while you're strolling the streets. It's the music, the people, the houses, the shops and bars, the clubs and a sense of spontaneity that lingers in the air around here. Berlin loves you with great passion, but let's you go whenever you need to and always surprises you when you come back – we could learn something here. :-)

PHILOSOPHY

In the end, the sum of our life results in the amount of hours, in which we loved. (Wilhelm Busch)

Music, Movies, and Books

Always laugh about Bridget Jones, always cry over the Dead Poets Society and just absolutely love "Chocolat" and "Amélie".

Anna Gavalda made me cry, Jonathan Safran Foer impressed me, "The Bookthief" (Markus Zusack) tore my heart apart and Erich Maria Remarque repaired it. I want to recieve a love-letter as lovely as Denis Diderots', I am not getting over the cleverness and irony of Erich Kästner, my childhood was influenced by Roald Dahl and I am grateful for Oscar Wilde and his great "Importance of being Ernest"

As far as my love for music goes - I fall for Tori Amos, dance to Mumford&Sons, have coffee in the morning with Aretha Franklin and sing along with Alin Coen or Boy. Bright Eyes wrote my favourite song and Jonathan Larson changed my life with Tick Tick Boom.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked across the Golden Gate Bridge with four girls that meant the world to me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can play the piano, love to sing to someone playing the guitar, make wonderful blueberry muffins and know tons about vegetarian cooking. :)
