Hi,

I'm Wout. I grew up in Blankenberge (near the sea!) when I was a kid, but later moved to Ghent, where I studied art. I currently live in Brugge, but am planning to move back to Ghent in one year or so.

I'm completely obsessed with literature and music. I'm currently writing literary reviews and a series of essays on forgotten writers for an online literary magazine called 'Indruk' (which means 'Impression' as well as 'In print').

I identify as a feminist and I can't stand any hints of sexism, racism or homophobia. Because I know some people aren't comfortable with LGBTQ+ people and because it might avoid some uncomfortable situations, I'd like to add that I'm homosexual.

I live in a student flat with my pet rabbit, Jirko. (: My studio has a kitchen, bathroom (shower + toilet) and 'living room'. I've uploaded some pictures so you have an idea. A rather small place, but I quite like it.

音乐、电影和书籍

Music: I'm mostly into 90's alternative rock bands, indie, dreamppop, punk and Riot Grrrl. Some of my favorite bands include Letters To Cleo, Eve's Plum, Veruca Salt, Bikini Kill, Babes In Toyland, The Sundays, Mazzy Star and Le Tigre.

Books: My favorite books are 'The Bell Jar' by Sylvia Plath, 'The Catcher In The Rye' by J.D. Salinger, 'The Secret History' by Donna Tartt and some Kafka. I focus on classics, but I love finding out about long forgotten authors.

Movies: I don't watch a lot of movies, although I should. My favorite movies include 'Les Amours Imaginaires' and 'J'ai Tué Ma Mère' by Xavier Dolan, 'In Bloom', 'Boys' and '10 Things I Hate About You'. I prefer alternative/indie movies over mainstream movies.
