Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I only recently realized the importance of this column. I'm probably not the only one who reads negative and neutral references first and sometimes I don't even read further from there. After looking for and reading a lot of of those references I concluded that most of them can be reduced to cultural differences and different expectations about the trip.

To combat these problems I like to get a clear idea of what the expectations are for the trip. Do you want me to show you around Antwerp, explore by yourself or even hang out on the couch and watch TV. I sometimes don't know what my travelers want because they don't want to be a burden to me. In this case I just suggest the things that I would want to see or do if I was in Antwerp the first time. This might not be the same for you, so tell me. The time I spend with you is reserved for you! I treat my guests the same way I would want to be treated, this means making the most of my limited time and expensive plane tickets.

So, apart from meeting nice people; "Why I'm on Couchsurfing" is that I would like to use CS as a form of travel in the future and I hope to be treated well, as I always tried to do.
