To show our son the world!
I'm a mom of two children, one living. His name is Judah and he is the joy of my life. I am married to his father, Joe, and we live in a small town in rural Maine. I love to travel, which was reinforced by the first part of my college education, at Antioch College in Ohio, where half of a student's semesters are spent away on co-op- basically a job or volunteer position that can be anywhere in the world. My first co-op was in San Francisco, a place I fell in love with and returned to seven years later, which is when I met Joe, who is originally from northern California. He and I returned to Maine after Judah's birth, and began the second half of our undergraduate careers.
My life has never followed a straight line, and I am grateful for that. I am a firm believer in the idea that when traveling, getting there is the interesting part. And it's even more interesting with two adults, two plane seats, and a wiggly one and a half year old.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
While I haven't begun yet, Joe, Judah, and I are hoping to find someplace to stay when we visit Chicago this summer. In Maine, we currently share a small apartment, but my hope is that someday we will have a large enough living space to host travelers as well!
Traveling, people, reading, music, food, families, culture, dance...all the good stuff!
