My friends might say I am a good guy who is friendly and fun to have around. I was once described as highly skilled instrumentalist who's very talented in the German language. Also slightly doofus but a true gentleman.

Through Couchsurfing I have met many interesting and nice people.

Interests

I am interested in most things related to exploring the cosmos, robots, figuring out Linux, 3D modeling, good conversation with strangers and old friends, kitchen experiments, playing piano, violin, music recording technology, do-it-yourself / homemade things, language teaching, and travelling, and probably more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. While working at a summer camp in Romania, someone was beating out random rhythms with a stick on some metal plate, and this toddler comes over and listens and starts playing them back. I always imagined the kid could be some musical genius.
2. In 2009 I spent five days travelling from California to Georgia with five other guys with the goal of visiting all exisiting locations of a particular Wings and Burgers restaurant chain--the idea started as joke and became real.
