Overview
About Me
Australian having an 8 month wander thru China, maybe Russia (if I somehow get a visa in Beijing), probably Central Asia, and misc, plus other.
I have a fondness for beer and whisky (not in the same glass tho), getting lost in big cities, camping, music, all the things most people also probably love?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting people, lightening the budget, getting a unique insight in to the places I travel, taking a break from hostels. Any/all of the above.

Music, Movies, and Books
Blues, funk, folk, punk, and lots more. It's music, how can you love just a small part of that spectrum?
I read Hesse, Vonnegut, Asimov, and Pratchett a lot, and plenty in between.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Three weeks homeless hitchhiking thru Japan was kinda strange. I've done a lot of hitchhiking, travelled from Perth, right the way around the top of Australia, and back home along the bottom, over 6 months.
Also Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Thailand, China, Hungary, and Bulgaria. Hoping to add a few more to the list on this trip 🤘🏻 (looking at you, Russia)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make fire, some other weird camping stuff. I know a lot of fun, unusual card games.
Would love to learn a language but am never in one place long enough. Gonna see how good my Chinese gets in two months!!
The best thing to share is a pizza and a six-pack
What I Can Share with Hosts
I forgot to bring the Vegemite and Emu Export from Australia, but I can certainly explain why you would probably hate them. Maybe not tho? I could get some posted over from home!
Also just some enjoyable times with another experience junkie, but I'm more than able to entertain myself exploring solo.
(and I'm not a jerk, so that's a plus)
