About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Devagar, que tenho pressa.

ABOUT ME

Couchsurfing says: All about you.
I say: Then I would be ready to die.
CS says: Just a personal description.
I say: For that there is some detailed information.
CS says: I am selling it.
I say: Damn it!

PHILOSOPHY

I look to learn and grow up everyday with everyone in my life. I see life as a travel that I started around the Sun and every Spring on May is the celebration of it. I have a body that allows me to walk in this 3 dimensional world during a limited time and I am happy for it. Although of metaphysics I consider myself a Marxist and I believe that a better world is possible Cliche? Not at all - politics aren't only political parties but much beyond that - they are the way we act in everyday life - the things we buy, the things we choose to eat, the things we do in our jobs and all the moments we choose to talk or to stay quiet.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to host people by CS. Sometimes i host some people not through it but than I find out later that they are also CSers. I am not the most active member of CS but I like much the idea as a tool of sharing knowledge, experiences, stories, etc.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I can say that I already met a lot of nice and creative minds trough this website. I highly recommended it for people that wants to travel and share knowledge through a voluntary way. CS is more than a traveling internet platform it's a social project.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I always carry in my mind the landscape from my home, it is not the most beautiful of the world but it is the landscape I grew up with and it's beautiful. Like the poet (Fernando Pessoa) says:

"The Tagus is more beautiful than the river that flows through my village,
But the Tagus is not more beautiful than the river that flows through my village
Because the Tagus is not the river that flows through my village."

"O Tejo é mais belo que o rio que corre pela minha aldeia
Mas o Tejo não é mais belo que o rio que corre pela minha aldeia
Porque o Tejo não é o rio que corre pela minha aldeia."

I have a poetry blog I would like to share with you - http://encarnarOdiabo.blogspot.com
I also appreciate much simple things in life as drinking beer all night long surrounded by friends, dancing or having a good discussion about nothing (if you are interested on my couch you MUST TO refer that!).
