ABOUT ME

My friends would say that I'm a kind person, usually outgoing though shy at times. I like talking with people and goofing around quite a bit, and am very curious about other cultures and about pretty much everything actually. Oh, and did I mention I'm a huge food fan? I don't really cook, but I love trying out new restaurants, and I do test as many kinds of food as possible whenever I'm in a new location!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never use this website before, but I have hosted and been hosted by quite a few friends before (people I already knew).
I also hosted a new colleague for a few weeks until she found more permanent accommodation.

Musica, film e libri

Music : I love music! However, my tastes are too eclectic and my knowledge of band and artist names is too limited for me to give you a pertinent sample of my favourite artists ;-)

Movies : independent films, but also teen/chick/dance/music flicks, romcoms and some blockbusters. Those past 2 years, I've particularly enjoyed Detachment, Drive, One Day, Winter Bones, Never let me go, The Amazing Spiderman, Midnight in Paris, Incendies, Une Séparation, Le Nom des Gens, ...

Books : I don't read a lot, but here is a sample of my favourite books: Harry Potter, The Dangerous Liaisons, Stevenson's Master of Ballantrae, Pride and Prejudice, The Picture of Dorian Gray, the Hunger Games, manga (Monster, Marmalade Boy, Nana, Fruits Basket)
