About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm an easy-to-handle, open-minded laughing guy! I like to be surrounded by people who I can laugh with, share and exchange stories and ideas. But I also enjoy the silence, and being on my own. In 2012 I got bit by the travel bug visiting New Zealand and since then I can't stop thinking of travel.
I'm currently studying nutritional science for my master degree. Besides that I work at a high-rope course in a forest nearby.
PHILOSOPHY
Just do what makes you lucky and fullfilling and you gonna make your way!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been couchsurfing once, to check it out, and it was real fun!
So now I'm up to more :)
Edit: My first and only time couchsurfing was in 2014. Since then I often tried but it didn't work out. Mostly because my request were to spontaneous.
Interests
My big obsessions are travelling and music!
Every holiday I try travel somewhere I've never been (doesn't work all the time). But when I do. it's mostly hitchhiking and budget travelling. I play the drums in a band, which is super fun, and I also play guitar for myself. I just don't make music, I also listen to it .. a lot. I got two guitars and a cajon and ready for a jam;)
Besides that I like hiking, playing hockey, hang out with friends and climbing. Recently started with swing dance:)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music and movies are wide-spread. Mostly I listen to rock music and also guitar-chill-music(Foo Fighters, Rage Against The Machine, Radical Face) and some Stoner-Rock. But in general I don't care about the genre. If I like a certain band, I listen to it.
For the movies I prefer independent movies.
I really want to read more but I my mind drifts apart pretty quick. The last book I finished was Into The Wild by Jon Krakauer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Mostly while hitchhiking I get to know how kind human beings can be. They do extra miles just to get me to a better spot, want to buy me some coffee or even change their whole route just so I can stay longer with them. The kindest hitchhike experience was in Ireland, where a couple invited me to their home for my last night and took me to a concert of the husband where I met a famous musician (I had no idea). The next day they even drove me to the airport:)
