About Me
Hi...I am Yanzhu from China. Now I am living in Melbourne for college. I major in Communication and minor in Photography. I'm good at both digital and darkroom photography.
I love traveling and have been to lots of countries around the world, like Korea, Thailand, Turkey, France, Italy, Kenya, Egypt, etc. I learned various cultures and I am willing to share my travel experience with you!
I love music and Karaoke! My favorite singer is Jason Zhang. I am crazy about attending most of his concerts. I love movies. My favorite genre is horror films~~~
I'm an absolute foodie! I can cook lots of traditional Chinese food. And now I'm learning to bake some cakes or cookies since I came to America.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like traveling and Couchsurfing can give me more opportunities to communicate with different people. As a Chinese people studying in Australia, I'm living in a student apartment, so I probably cannot host travelers in Denver. But I'm willing to share my culture with local people. If I'm in Beijing, I'm able to lead you around the famous sites in Beijing and explore lots of amazing activities!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: my favorite singer Jason Zhang's all songs. Other types of music maybe pop, classic and jazz.
Movies: I am crazy about horrible movies. My roommates and I watch a horrible moive nearly once a week.
Books; I love detective books!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I flight to another cities to Jason's concert by only a weekend during semester. (fly on Sat morning, watch concert on Sat night, and return on Sun)
Also, I went to airport to pick him up and he signed for me on my albums with my name!
Once, I waited for him after a award ceremony at the parking to just have a look for him. I remember it was a really cold night, and the ceremony ended at nearly 1am. There was no any transportation still working, and the place was really remote so we also couldn't see a taxi. At the ends, we had to take the unlicensed cab with lots of money.
It seems all of the amazing thing I've done are about my idol haha...
