About Me

Im currently on a 7 month trip around the world! I started in Asia, then moved to the Middle East, and now I'm finishing my trip in Europe. I have spent a lot of time rock climbing, hiking and camping on this trip, and I have loved the adventure so far! I love spending my time outside, but you can also find me in the city at cafes, book shops and delicious restaurants

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have stayed in Hostels and various other types of accommodation before, but I think that couchsurfing is unique in the sense that it will let me connect with the people and the places I am visiting in a more intimate way! I am so excited to be able to meet new people and gain a unique perspective while traveling.

Interests

I love spending as much of my time outside as possible! I'm an avid rock climber, I've been doing it for years! I also enjoy hiking, kayaking and biking, and I'm almost always up for any kind of outdoor adventure. When I'm not spending my time in the mountains, I like to read, garden, go for walks, cook/bake, or learning about biology :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a variety of music, but I mostly enjoy alternative, electronic or folky music!

Books!! I love books.
Recently, I've started falling in love with Tom Robbins and his novels. Notably "Jitterbug perfume" (maybe my all time favorite book? ) and "Villa Incognito"
I have also really enjoyed "Cutting for Stone" and "Extremely Loud and Incredibly close" which I have read recently.

And as for movies...Anything Wes Anderson! I can't get enough of his movies. Was "Grand Budapest Hotel" not the greatest movie ever made?
I love "Everything is Illuminated", "Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy" and of course, the Harry Potter series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first thing that pops into my mind is rock climbing in China! It was a really big decision for me to go to a city called Yangshuo alone on a climbing trip, but I am so glad I did! I spent one amazing month in China, meeting incredible people and rock climbing every day

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always trying to pick up a little language here and there, so I would love to try and learn a little of you're mother tongue! I'm always looking for good conversation, and someone to create memories with!

As I mentioned before, I've spent a great deal of my time rock climbing both indoors and outdoors. So if that is something you're interested, I would LOVE to share some of my knowledge with you (Don't worry, you're in good hands! I've been teaching for 4 years!)

I love sharing meals both at home and from restaurants. So I will be happy to cook or go out for meals if anyone is willing to accompany me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really like cooking and baking vegetarian meals, and I have lots and lots of recipes to share!
