CURRENT MISSION

I am traveling Europe until July 31st. I have been wanting to do this for years, and now that I am here I want to take full advantage and see everything worth seeing. This is a once in a lifetime experience for me, and I want to do it right!

ABOUT ME

I am 21 years old, and I have lived in Tucson, Arizona all of my life. My mother is from Mexico and my father is from Lebanon, and I have visited both countries regularly. I have been wanting to explore Europe for years, and I have finally gotten the guts to do it. This is my first time away from home by myself, and to be honest, it makes me very nervous and excited at the same time. I have been studying in Madrid for a semester, and that program ends at the end of April. After that, my mother is planning to visit me and travel with me for about two weeks, after which I will be on my own until July 31st. I am planning to see as much of Europe as I can between May and June, since I will be spending the month of July in Lebanon with my family. I worked very hard to make money to last me the time I spend here, and I am hoping to see as much as I can with my budget. I am very outgoing and I love to have fun, I am never shy and I always enjoy meeting new people and seeing new places! I am taking the opportunity to make this the trip of a lifetime!

PHILOSOPHY

You only live once. If you don't take experiences outside of your comfort zone, you are not living your life to its full potential. There are so many types of people to meet, so many different places to see, and so many different cultures to experience, and you will never get to understand the world if you only stick with what is familiar to you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can not exactly say that I have a couch to offer, considering I don't have a home in Europe that I could call my own. However, I am always happy to meet new people and get to know anyone who will graciously allow me into their home.. I promise that I am a good person to be around!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couchsurfed, but I had a friend in Tucson who hosted someone traveling through and it was fantastic. The guy who stayed over was fun, outgoing, polite, and very nice. That is the reason I decided to give it a shot.

Interests

I love photography, traveling, grabbing drinks with friends, trying new foods, seeing new things, meeting new people, seeing live music, DANCING, and experiencing different lifestyles!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most types of music, the Black Keys and Mumford & Sons are a couple of my favorites. I have an extremely diverse taste in music, and I love going to festivals. I went to Coachella in California for the past two years and those weekends were probably among the best weekends of my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would have to say that attending weekend music festivals are the best experiences I have had in my life. I went to Coachella Music and Arts festival in California for the past two years, and those two weekends were among the best weekends in my life. I love live music and I love enjoying it with so many other fun and awesome people with the same passion. There's something about camping for a weekend with your friends among thousands of people just like you for three says of non-stop live music from amazing bands you have wanted to see all of your life. It changed my life and I will probably never stop going!
