ABOUT ME

I got laid off last year working for a private equity firm doing real estate development. I was scared and frantically looking for work for the first 4-6 months. During this time, I picked up my camera and started shooting again. The more I shot, the less job searching I did. I fell in love with shooting all over and decided that I wasn't ever going back to a conventional job. I'd rather struggle doing something I love than get rich doing something I hated. We'll see where this goes...

I would love to travel the world and do photography. I'm a lifestyle photographer who loves to capture and create and recreate moments amongst people.

I'm a fitness snob but I got a gut. I hate Jillian Michaels.

I love to cook and bake. I am obsessed with Samoas Girl Scout Cookies ice cream.

I love romantic comedies and would watch them over anything else.

I finished a 2 week roadtrip from South Carolina back to Los Angeles in March. I stopped everywhere and met some amazing folks and did a lot of photography. I fell in love with Lafayette, LA where the people and food are second to none!

I scored an All You Can Jet pass from JetBlue and will be travelling every weekend in Sept.

Planned destinations are: San Francisco, New York, Aruba, New Orleans, Puerto Rico.

Hopefully CS will be good to me for these destinations! =)

PHILOSOPHY

I used to be the guy that was chasing that fat paycheck. Now I'm that guy chasing amazing life experiences.

Applying the 80/20 rule to my life and am on the path to ridding myself of material obsessions and trading them for life experiences.

I'm currently traveling so I'm hoping to surf couches from fellow CSers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couchsurfed before but plan on doing some of it while I'm doing a cross country roadtrip from South Carolina back to Los Angeles. I'll be doing this roadtrip from 3/23-3/29 and hope to be trading meals and maybe a couch for photography.

Interests

I am in love with taking photographs.

I have a love/hate relationship with my kettlebells.

I love to bake but hate to eat what I bake due to all the butter and sugar... but I still eat it.
