Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people. When I am traveling, I like to be hosted by locals who can recommend their favorite places or the latest events in their city. Also, I have had amazing experiences being hosted and now that I am staying in Montreal for a while, I feel like opening my house to people and offer them (I hope) the same great experiences I have had being hosted.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Germany when I was 18 years old to learn German for a month and live with a student and her parents. Then, when I was 23 years old I went back to Berlin and lived there for a year and a half, enjoyed the techno-lifestyle and met amazing people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am pretty good with languages, so I can teach you more about one of the ones I know. We can talk about the places I have been to and I can share my humble knowledge about these places to you.
I like to learn about the food and the traditions of the places I visit.
Because I have also lived in Argentina, I can make pretty good empanadas argentinas. And arepas colombianas (because I am of Colombian origins). I can teach you how to drink maté which is an activity that has many rules.
I like to share nice meals with a glass of wine.
