About Me

Experience as many cultures as possible!

I am a girl who loves traveling, meeting people, talking with people, and experiencing new things.

I have traveled a lot of countries such as Japan, China, Vietnam, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Czech Republic, Austria, Netherland, Canada, and the United States.

I love to go abroad and make foriegn friends. Thanks to those trips, I have a lot of sweet foriegn friends who support me from all around the world. I hope I can make my new sweeties :)

Now I am participating in an exchange student program in Canada. After this semester, I am going to travel some places in Canada and the US. Like I have made lots of good buddies here in Canada, I am looking forward to meeting some warm-hearted people!

One movie that touched me a lot was 'Dead Poets Society'. I cannot forget the main character's famous line. When I was younger, I always worked hard for my future. I wasn't happy at that time because I rarely do something for myself. But now I know how to be happy and how to enjoy my life. "Seize the day" is the key to happiness. I am doing my best to have a great day every time. "Enjoy your everyday" That's the important thing! :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I got recommendations on Couch surfing from several friends. They told me it was a fun and unique experience. So, I decided to be a surfer, too! Of course, I would love to be a host when I go back to my country.

This is my first time to participate in Couch surfing. I am so excited about everything!

I am a hard-working student as well as an outgoing person. I love listening to music, singing, dancing, socializing with people, learning from experiences, and cooking!
I would love to hang out with hosts or couch surfers and have fun!

If some surfers want to come to Korea, I am willing to be a tour guide for them and hang around with them!

Also, I like visiting nice restaurants and trying something new and yummy. So, I want to visit many sweet restaurants when I am in new places. Of course, I can recommend good restaurants to my surfers as well!

Music, Movies, and Books

As I mentioned above, "Dead Poets Society" is one of my favorite films. I love sweet and warm movies such as "If Only", "Sleepless in Seattle", "Walk to remember", "Titanic", and so on. Those movies make me feel relaxed and happy. Also I usually watch action movies like "Mission impossible", "Taxi", "2012", "Catch me if you can", "Transformers", "Inception", and "Pirates of the Caribbean". I release my stress while watching them.

I listen to some pop songs and k-pops. My favorite artists are Beatles, Bruno Mars, Jason Mraz, Britney Spears, Busted, Maroon 5, TVXQ, Busker Busker, and SES. Last three groups are from Korea. I can sing some Korean songs for you if you want! haha

"The little prince" is the book I like the most. I love the lovely characters and unforgettable lines.
'what is essential is invisible to the eye.'
'It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important.'
You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed.'

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I tried sky diving when I was in Czech Republic. It was a really exciting and memorable experience! I recorded my diving by not only pictures but also as a video. They are super funny! Sometimes I watch them to release my stress out.

I studied in Canada for one semester in 2012 as an exchange student. It gave me a lot of lessons through meeting new people, experiencing another culture, and exploring new places. On top of that, I have made a lot of sweet friends in Canada who cheer me up every time. I really appreciate their kindness and support. Being an exchange student was a big challenge for me as well as a great gift for myself. I seriously cherish the time I had in Canada. It was one of the best periods I have ever had in my life!

I did volunteer work in a small town of northern Italy, Prali. The town was really cute and peaceful, and people were very kind. I spent two weeks doing laundry, cooking, cleaning, and baby sitting in one camp facility. All the volunteers are from all around the globe; Czech Republic, France, Taiwan, South Korea, Spain, the United States, Ghana, Italy, Argentina, Uruguay, Morocco, and Turkey. It was like a small global village! I made a lot of friends over there and unforgettable memories with them.
