ABOUT ME

I'm a lawyer and yoga practitioner/teacher living in West Virginia. I love food and music, and also enjoy fashion and film. My travels have taken me to England, France, the Netherlands, Greece, Estonia, Sweden, the Caribbean, and many U.S. states east of the Mississippi. I've spent at least 16 hours in the Copenhagen airport and it has felt like 48, so I think Denmark should count as well. Learn more as you like. :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I'm just surfing, but maybe I'll open my couch for business once I get a little cozier with CS. My schedule can be busy sometimes, but I'm always happy to at least point a CSer in the direction of good times in Charleston (which sometimes require some hunting for the uninitiated).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During one six-month period I learned bits of an obscure language and flew halfway across the world twice to be with a girl I was madly, passionately in love with. It was costly, illogical, completely impulsive, and I absolutely had to do it. The "amazing" part to me is that it's the kind of thing that's only supposed to happen in the movies, but I actually lived it.

If it has to do with yoga or food, I'm on it. I can also give tips on buying the perfect tie to go with that new shirt and introduce you to nifty indie bands.
