About Me

I am on my way hoe via the world.

Worked on merchant vessels as a navigational officer for three and half years. Quit the job for traveling around the world and now I've been on the road since Oct 2007. Traveled down from China to far south of Australia by buses and trains sometime cargo ship. From Australia, my journey has been got slower because I got my bicycle!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is good to know new people around the world, and of course to save the budget on my long journey! However, I may not participate CS oftenly since I am kind of shy, I can be agressive only when I want to have ethnic meals which only locls know..

I had been welcomed by a group of CSers at Philippines before I got enrolled CS. It was a great fun, definitely it pushed my back to be a CSer.

My first CS experience other than above was in Singapore. Great people, great accommo, great local food.

Traveling, to see places I have never imagined.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love adventures/actions movies such as Transporter and Pirates of the Caribbean. As for books I have tried some English novels for studying purpose, from "Alice's Adventures on Wonderland" to "Moby-dick" however never finished one of those.. I am currently reading Japanese mistery novels these days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done is definitely a push biking across Australian continent from Hobart, Tasmania to Darwin, NT. Took three and half month, over 5000km. Rode the deadly dry continent, seen the beautiful sun and clouds, viewed amazing Uluru at the top of the ayers rock, etc... Willing to continue this great ctcling journey.
