ABOUT ME

My names Yoshi, i'm 21. i'm originally from Kent in the UK, but i'm currently living in the wonderful city of York where I study. I've just finished my second year study Writing Directing & Performance (a bit like English & Drama). I like to sing, play the guitar (badly) and act, amongst other things. I lived in Brighton for a year studying music which i loved, it was my first time living away from home and was an extremely eye opening experience in many ways. I'm now loving being at university and trying to get everything possible out of the experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never personally couchsurfed before so i am relatively new to the experience, however my housemate of two years has had many couchsurfers come to stay and it has always been a pleasant experience in my opinion. Two lovely guys from Germany came to stay with us for a couple of days in our student halls in first year. They were both considering York as an option for university, we took them around York and had a good time with them. Then, at the beginning of this year I was at a bar in the university and one of them was there! He's now a student at York which is great.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I forget every film i have ever seen but love them when i watch them.
I love all different types of music but i think these are my diehard favourites. Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell, Jeff Buckley, Nick Drake, Kate Bush, Julia Stone,Talking Heads, Marvin Gaye, Joan Armatrading. My favourite books i think i've ever read are the Poisonwood Bible, The God of Small Things, Any Human Heart.
