About Me
Hi! ¡Hola! Olá!
I am YoVanna Hernández Solomon; and, I am thrilled to be sharing my journey with you. I am an International Studies, undergraduate student with a passion for traveling. After having studied abroad for five months in Uruguay I was inspired to continue my wanderlust and intimately discover more of South America.
I am a down to earth, easily accommodated, goofy girl. I try not to take the world to seriously. Traveling has open my eyes and heart to treasures of sharing and learning. I love to dance, biking, and have a passion of the art of eating. To travel is to eat - YoVanna.
I enjoy a good book but dont really like liquor ( will slam a glass of wine tho) Ive got some stellar stories and a great smile. I make banana cakes and apple pies at ungodly hours and then eat them standing up at the counter (most enjoyable when shared with good company) .
Stay connected to love.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am excited to expand my knowledge about international cultures through meeting new people. It is an opportunity to grow, laugh, share and work with diverse peoples of the world. This will be an unforgettable, life changing, and humbling experience.
My goal is to learn one traditional dance and learn how to cook at least one typical meal from every country I visit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Aprendí estar sola y realmente disfrutarlo.
Spent a year abroad traveling throughout South America.
Teach, Learn, Share
Studying in the host language and living in Spanish-speaking homes will enable me to continue to grow as a Spanish speaker and enhance my vocabulary, while also presenting the opportunity to help those studying English improve their fluency. As a bilingual college student, I have the valuable advantage of communicating ideas that support global sustainability and spread love.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A solid sense of humer, great smile, kind loving energy, english practice, very interesting stories, good company and conversation.
