ABOUT ME

I'm an Afghan-American raised in Orange County, California, USA. I have a huge family and I love to meet new people and socialize. My goal is to see as much of the world as possible and make a positive change in underserved areas, especially my parents homeland: Afghanistan.

I am in the process of applying to medical schools, and I will be flying all over the country to go to medical school interviews. I really want to get a feel of the cities I am considering and I think couchsurfing would be a great way of sampling my life in the next few years.

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, I am living with my parents and unfortunately will not be able to host, however, when I move out to medical school my couch will be open! I will be spending much of the coming year visiting different schools and cities and trying to make my decision on which medical school to go to.

I am interested in traveling, sports--especially basketball--especially the Lakers, science, abstract conversations, dissecting the most minor details of life, wondering about the future of the world, meeting new people, socializing, going out to bars/clubs/restaurants, trying new things.
